Westland Shopping Center, 51.000 m² and 120 units, is located in Anderlecht, on the edge of the Brussels Ring – it is the only shopping (under roof) of that size near the ring road. Thanks to its excellent accessibility and the quality of its commercial mix, Westland has remained one of the top shopping centres in Brussels over the years.

The Westland Shopping was built in the 1970s and was lightly renovated in 2000. During a new, ambitious renovation program, the interior of the mall will be completely updated and modernized, the lay-out will be simplified and the entries will be radically transformed in order to make them easy to identify and to reinforce the visibility of Westland. As well as the renovation of the existing building and the reorganization of the East and West entrances, Westland will benefit from two extensions on the North and South side. These extensions will give the opportunity to welcome new tenants and leisure actors to the Shopping. The number of parking spots will also increase significantly from 1,650 to 2,340 spaces. The surroundings of the shopping centre will be transformed into green spaces to live and play in.

These renovation works have started in September 2019 and will end in December 2021. The shopping centre will stay open during the renovation, which means that works will be essentially carried out during the night and within a carefully conceived phasing program. The upgraded entrances, the new lay-out and the new finishes, combined with the unique localization, will allow Westland to stand out as a one-of-a-kind shopping mall in Belgium.
