City2, 34.000 m² and 105 shops, is a unique venue located in the very centre of Brussels – it is the only shopping centre (under roof) of that size in the heart of Brussels. Thanks to its excellent accessibility, the quality of its commercial mix and its location along Rue Neuve, City2 enjoys an unchallenged position as “the” commercial hub of the city centre.

To maintain City2 as a reference, AG Real Estate has conducted an ambitious renovation program. The interior of the mall has been completely updated and modernized, the lay-out has been simplified and the entries have been radically transformed in order to make them easy to identify and to reinforce the visibility of City2.

These renovation works began in September 2017 and have ended in September 2019. The mall stayed open during the renovation which means that works were essentially carried out during the night and within a carefully conceived phasing program.

The upgraded entrances, the new lay-out and the new finishes, combined with the unique localisation, will allow City2 to stand out as a one-of-a-kind shopping mall in Belgium.
